Welcome to the Library!

  • Library Study Rooms: Library Study Rooms are for group studies and reserved in a two-hour timeslot per day. There are five study rooms: one on the Campus Level, three on the Parking Lot Level, and one on the Basement Level. Each has a white board, table and chairs. We encourage quiet group study, but please be aware these rooms are not noise-proof.

  • Library Study Carrels: Carrels are personal study spaces allocated throughout the library. Most carrels are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis at the beginning of each semester, but a number of non-reservable day-use study carrels are available as well.

Study Carrels are available on a per-semester basis. Registration opens on the first day of classes for each semester. Find the registration form link on the library home page. Other seating options include our tables and soft furnishings scattered throughout the library and the green-labeled “Open Carrels” which are available for daily use. (Please do not leave materials in any of these locations overnight.)
